ActionPLAN 2.3 provides an un paralleled level of granular data in an actionable format that helps manufacturers eliminate lost production, improve efficiency, and maximize profits in a highly competitive and ever evolving industry.
With ActionPLAN 2.3 we not only give our customers the ability to identify the true, exact sources of lost production and their effect on profits, but also who is best person to solve the issue, which staff members contribute most to the issue, what training would result in increased productivity, and what best practices can be identified and shared in order to maximize productivity and ultimately profits.
ActionPLAN 2.3 answers these questions and more.
Instances of lost production are categorized by duration into two categories:
1) Machine Lost Production
a. Prolonged instances of lost production that require maintenance technicians to perform machinery repairs to resume production.
b. Repetitive Machine issues are identified for continuous improvements during scheduled preventative maintenance times and assigned to the most qualified maintenance staff member.
c. The ActionPLAN HR module allows for the measurement of maintenance personnel response times, response instances, repair times, and repair effectiveness.
2) Process (Human) Lost Production
a. Short instances of lost production that do not require a maintenance technician and are resolved by the operator or line supervisor.
b. Process Lost Production instances are sub categorized by duration – Micro Stoppage, Slow Cycle, Small Stop.
c. The ActionPLAN HR module allows for the measurement of operator load time, operator load accuracy, and the number of lost production instances generated by operator.
d. Lost production time is allocated to the operator on duty allowing for a transparent assessment of performance.
e. Poor performing production staff are identified for training while top performing production staff are identified for advancement and best practice sharing.
